Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) arrested former agriculture minister Muhammad Abdur Razzaque in Dhaka on Monday (Oct 14).

DMP`s Media and Public Relations Department Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the matter.

He said that many leaders of the former government are accused in various cases. He is no exception. He has been arrested on specific charges.

Taleb said that the DB arrested him from Iskaton in the capital.
