(BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar today strongly protested and condemned the attack on Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, India.
In a statement, he said an extremist group of India carried out vandalism on Bangladesh mission and set fire on Bangladesh’s national flag, which is contrary to Geneva Convention and diplomatic norms.
“India has failed to give security to Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala. The country has no right to speak about Bangladesh’s internal affairs,” he said.
Jamaat believed that the incident was perpetrated as part of deep-rooted conspiracy to destroy the friendly relations between Bangladesh and India, said Golam Parwar.
He urged all to remain alert and to protest any kind of conspiracy against Bangladesh.
Jamaat secretary general also called upon the Indian government to protect all Bangladesh’s diplomatic offices in India and ensure security of officials and employees there.
