The July Uprising Cell of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has identified six unidentified bodies in the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) died during the uprising.

At a press briefing on Friday (Jan 10) in front of DMCH`s emergency department, Cell Secretary Hasan Inam disclosed the matter.

He said the members of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement team discovered the bodies during an investigation.

Shahbagh Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khalid Monsur confirming the matter said that the bodies are in the DMCH forensic morgue.

He said that the bodies are related to the anti-discrimination movement.

The bodies include males aged 20, 22, 25, and 30, a 32-year-old female, and a man named Enamul, aged 25.

Postmortem reports said that five died from injuries, while Enamul`s death was caused by fall.

The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement called on the interim government and authorities to help return the bodies to their families.
