(BSS) - Biman Bangladesh Airlines today is operating a special flight to be conducted by all women staff including pilots and cabin crews on International Women`s Day.

The national flag carrier is operating the flight expressing solidarity with gender equality, women`s empowerment, and the elimination of all forms of violence and discrimination against women, Biman said in a release.

The special Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka flight BG-388 is being commanded by Captain Anita and First-Officer Tasnuva with five female cabin crew members.

The all women operating special flight is set to fly from Dhaka at 11:20 this morning.
