A housewife, who had suffered burn injuries in a gas line explosion in Chandpur town, died at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Dhaka on Friday afternoon, March 14.

The victim, Khadija Aktar, 32, wife of Imam Hossain Sardar, a resident of Koralia area in the town.

Mahmudul Hasan Jibon, cousin of Imam Hossain, confirmed the matter of Khadija`s death.

Six people were injured when a gas line explosion occurred in Koralia area during Sehri on March 9.
