An earthquake was felt in various parts of the country, including the capital, Dhaka, at 4:52 pm on Friday (April 11).

Md Rubaiyat Kabir, Acting Officer of the Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre at the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, confirmed the incident to Jago News.

He stated that the earthquake measured 4.0 on the Richter scale and was classified as a light earthquake. The epicenter was located along the Bangladesh-India border.
