English club Tottenham secured their place in the Europa League final after defeating a Norwegian club in the semi-finals. Earlier, Manchester United advanced to the final for the first time since 2021 by overcoming Spanish side Athletic Bilbao.

Manchester United 4-1 Athletic Bilbao
Having come to Old Trafford with the ambition to overturn a three-goal deficit, Bilbao started strongly. They took the lead in the 31st minute through Jauregizar and held onto it for a significant portion of the game. However, in the final twenty minutes, the Spanish club conceded four goals.

Bodø/Glimt 0-2 Tottenham
The first half ended without any goals. However, the English club struck twice between the 63rd and 69th minutes. Porro and Solanke were the goalscorers for Tottenham.

Tottenham were the champions of the inaugural Europa League (then the UEFA Cup). They also won the tournament in 1984 after their first triumph in 1972. They were runners-up in 1974. This victory marks Tottenham`s return to the Europa League final after a 41-year wait.
