A two-day tree plantation programme will begin today in Dhaka to mark the birthday of Dr. Zubaida Rahman, wife of BNP Acting Chairman and chief patron of `Amra BNP Paribar`.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi will lead the event, starting this afternoon at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. BNP leaders including Shahiduddin Chowdhury Annie and Rashiduzzaman Millat will attend.

The inauguration is scheduled at 5:30 pm near Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman’s grave.
