Russia`s Foreign Ministry has cautioned the United States against providing direct military aid to Israel, warning that such actions could destabilize the Middle East.
On Wednesday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov issued a stern warning, stating that any US assistance to Israel could destabilize the region.
According to a report by Al Arabiya, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry, Moscow has explicitly warned the US against offering direct military aid to Israel, or even considering such a move.
Interfax news agency quoted Ryabkov as saying, "Russia is warning the United States against providing, or even considering, this kind of assistance to Israel." He added that Moscow is maintaining contact with both Israel and Iran.
Meanwhile, Russia`s state news agency TASS reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the Israel-Iran crisis with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan via phone. Both leaders expressed "deep concern" over the conflict and emphasized the need for a swift resolution.
Earlier on Tuesday night, US President Donald Trump made several statements regarding Iran. He claimed to have identified where Khamenei is hiding, writing, "He`s an easy target, but safe there—we`re not killing him, at least not now."
