Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Friday recovered a large sum of Indian drugs from different places in Sunamganj district.

According to BGB, a team of Sunamganj BGB-28 recovered an owner less consignment of 128 bottles of Indian liquor, worth Tk 192000, from Tahirpur upazila in the district.

On the contrary, 10000 packet of Indian cigarettes worth nearly Tk 1 million were also recovered from Rajapar area near 1211/MP under Bishwambarpur upazila in the district.

Sunamganj BGB-28 official Jakaria Kader confirmed the incidents.
