BSS/AFP) - German airline Lufthansa said Monday it would slash 4,000 jobs, mainly in Germany, by 2030 in a bid to cut costs after a fall in earnings.

Europe`s biggest airline group said the move would essentially target administrative posts and not operational functions. Lufthansa`s carriers also include Eurowings, Austrian, Swiss and Brussels Airlines.
