(BSS) - Chittagong University (CU) students formed a human chain at the Shaheed Minar this evening, demanding the immediate implementation of the Teesta Master Plan and Bangladesh`s fair share of Teesta River water.
Organized by students from Rangpur division, the protest featured placards condemning water injustice and India`s alleged influence over Bangladesh`s water policies.
Speakers, including student leaders and activists, stressed that the plan could transform northern Bangladesh through agricultural development and national economic growth.
The rally concluded with a unified call to protect national interests and ensure water justice for the Teesta-dependent regions.
