The Pakistan Navy ship `PNS Saif` arrived at Chattogram Port on Saturday for a four-day visit.

Chattogram Naval Region officials welcomed the Pakistani sailors upon arrival.

According to a press release, the ship, commanded by Captain Shujat Abbas Raja, received a warm reception from the Commander of the Chattogram Naval Region. Representatives from the Pakistani Embassy in Bangladesh and senior local naval officials were also present.

Prior to entering Bangladeshi waters, the Pakistani ship was welcomed by the Bangladesh Navy vessel `BNS Swadhinata`.

During the visit, the Pakistani delegation, including the captain and officers, will pay courtesy calls to the Commander of Chattogram Naval Region, Commander BN Fleet and the Area Superintendent Dockyard.

Officers, sailors and trainees of the visiting ship will also tour historical and tourist sites, naval ships and bases in Chattogram.

In a reciprocal gesture, Bangladesh Navy officers and sailors will visit the Pakistani ship. The visit is scheduled to conclude on November 12, when PNS Saif will depart from Bangladesh.
