European Union (EU) Ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller has held a meeting with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

In the meeting, they discussed Bangladesh and the EU’s bilateral relationship, the current political situation in Bangladesh, the upcoming general election, as well as issues related to democracy and human rights.

BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Joint Secretary General (Foreign Affairs) Humayun Kabir and Organizing Secretary Shama Obaed were present.

The meeting was held at the BNP Chairperson`s Gulshan office at 11AM on Wednesday.
