BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed a hope that a fair trial consistent with international standards will be ensured in the verdict against Sheikh Hasina`s case.

He made this hope through a post in a Facebook on Monday (November 17).

``Within a few hours in Dhaka, the verdict in the case against Sheikh Hasina will be announced. I hope a fair trial consistent with international standards will be ensured. The nation is waiting.``
