Special Correspondant : Sylhet Metropolitan Police`s media sent press briefing to arrest the accused Md Abdul Hannan`s son Md Miladur Rahman (24) of Kanaighat Upazila`s Sylhet. It is known that there is case against that person in S.M.P. Kotwali P.S. under Ante Terrorism Act 11/12/13 of 2009 A.D. This information was given on Yesterday 29th November 2025 through Press Briefing. The house of that accused is 1" portion of Borbond village. It is rumour that the accused of the case Md Miladur Rahman is now absconding in abroad. As he is the warranted accused of a case under Fast Judgment Act, the police did not find him by search and for which the made such decision.

The short description of the press briefing is that the accused is a peacked terrorist and explosive type of person. The police arrested the accused from the place of occurrence on the day of occurrence mentioned in the complain. After at least one month of arrest, the accused got out on bail and went absconding. Later, on 28th February 2023 A.D. the charge sheet (Annual Report) was submitted against him and on the same day the learned court issued warrant of arrest against him. Since then he was not found by searching him at his house and various places and times. The doubt made that the accused has left the country. The Sylhet Metropolitan Police (Media) has announced that if anybody can arrest him then he will be rewarded two lac taka.

In review of the documents of the case, it is seen that the brought case against him is No. 09, G.R. case No. 451/2022 A.D., date of case: 15/08/2022 A.D. The allegation has been brought against the accused in all sections. At present the said case is in trial. The S.M.P. Police has been sent letter from court to arrest him in the said case. At last as he was not found, the press briefing has been sent and reward has been announced by S.M.P. Police Commissioner (Media Cell).
