Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami women`s wing will old a rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on January 31 protesting harassment, attacks on its female activists across the country.

The party`s Nayeb-e-Ameer Dr Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher made the announcement on Tuesday at a press conference held on the ground floor of Jamaat’s central office.

The rally will begin around 10:30AM.

For the first time, members of the women’s wing are being compelled to come out publicly and hold a protest rally.
