International Desk: Indian forces have launched massive cordon and search operations in various districts of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including Kupwara, Kishtwar, Doda, Kathua, Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch, and Samba.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces, during a cordon and search operation, claimed to have recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in the Karnah area of Kupwara district.

The Indian Army, paramilitary forces, police and the Special Operations Group (SOG) continued cordon and search operations in different areas of Kishtwar, Doda, Kathua, Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch and Samba districts.

The operations are being conducted based on specific inputs developed by armed forces and agencies, with the help of Village Defence Guards (VDGs), , Indian officials claimed.

The unrelenting CASOs have made life unbearable for Kashmiris, who are subjected to harassment, arbitrary arrests, and torture. The Indian forces’ actions have been widely condemned as human rights abuses, and the international community has been urged to take action.

Meanwhile, Indian forces during a search operation recovered a rusted mortar shell from a village near the Line of Control (LoC), which was defused in a controlled explosion in Poonch district.
