The Cabinet has approved the proposed national budget of Tk 9.38 lakh crore for the 2026-27 fiscal year.

The meeting was held on Thursday morning ahead of the formal presentation of the budget in Parliament by Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury at 3PM.

President President Mohammed Shahabuddin will sign the budget bill after it is approved by the Cabinet.
