| Prime Minister (PM) Tarique Rahman left Dhaka for Feni on Thursday morning to join several programmes in Parshuram and Fulgazi upazilas throughout the day.
He departed from his residence for Parshuram in Feni by road shortly after 8:30am on Thursday (October 1).
According to the itinerary, the prime minister is scheduled to reach the Ghatghar Muhuri Bridge area in Parshuram at 12:30pm. There, he will attend the inauguration and exchange greetings at a programme marking the launch of the “Rehabilitation of the Muhuri-Kahua Flood Control, Drainage and Irrigation Project (Phase 1).”
During his day-long visit, the prime minister will attend various programmes in Parshuram and Fulgazi upazilas, including the inauguration of flood control projects, tree planting, the launch of electricity supply to the national grid from rooftop solar systems, and the distribution of Family Cards and Farmer Cards.
The prime minister will leave Parshuram at 1:15pm for Begum Khaleda Zia Women’s College in Fulgazi upazila. He is scheduled to arrive at the college premises at 1:30pm and take part in a tree-planting programme.
He will then go to the Fulgazi District Council Dak Bungalow at 2:00pm, where he will inaugurate the supply of electricity to the national grid from rooftop solar systems.
At 3:00pm, the prime minister will attend a programme at the Fulgazi Government Pilot High School ground. There, he is scheduled to attend a ceremony for distributing Family Cards and Farmer Cards and providing honorariums to imams, muezzins, khadims and people working at other religious places of worship.
After completing the day’s programmes, the prime minister is scheduled to leave Feni by road for Dhaka at 5:00pm and reach the capital around 9:00pm.
