Unidentified person dies being run over by train in Lalmonirhat

An unidentified person died after being run over by a train in Aditmari upazila of Lalmonirhat on Monday.

The accident took place in the afternoon in Madanpur (Ratherpar) area under ??Palashi union in the upazila on Monday.

Lalmonirhat Railway Police Station OC Mamun Hasan said that the was run over by Burimari-bound 71 UP commuter train. He died on the spot.

Efforts are underway to identify the dead, he added.
