Three youths were killed in a motorcycle accident in Cumilla`s Sadar upazila early Monday.

The accident happened at about 1AM at Palpara area of the upazila.

The deceased were Md Ahad, 14, son of Kawsar Khalil of the upazila; Imon, 15, son of Jakir Hossain of Burichang upazila; and Imon Hossain Hossain, 16, son of Monir Hossain of Sadar upazila.

Kotwali Model Police Station OC Mohinul Islam said Ahad went out of the house with his two friends at an early hours. There was a wedding programme atKawsar Khalil`s house. Around 1AM, their bike hit hard an electric pole and the trio died on the spot.

The bodies were handed over to the families.
