The bus driver who ran over six people at the Dhaleshwari toll plaza on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Munshiganj has been arrested.

The Rapid Action Battalion, RAB, arrested the driver, Mohammad Nuruddin, in Narayanganj’s Sidhirganj area on Friday night, the elite force’s legal and media wing director, Munim Ferdous, said on Saturday afternoon.

Earlier on Friday, a speedy bus of ‘Bepari Paribahan’ hit a private car, a microbus, and a motorcycle from behind waiting to pay toll at the Dhaleshwari toll plaza on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Munshiganj, leaving six people, including four of a family, dead.
