Entry prohibited within 200 yards of SSC exam center: DMP

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police has declared a complete ban on the entry of the public, except for examinees and persons related to the examination, within two hundred yards of various examination centers in Dhaka city for the 2025 SSC and SSC (Vocational), Dakhil and Dakhil (Vocational) examinations.

The ban was announced in a public notice signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Sajit Ali on Wednesday (April 9).

The public notice states that the SSC and SSC (Vocational), Dakhil and Dakhil (Vocational) examinations for 2025 will be held from April 10 at various examination centers in the Dhaka metropolitan area. Since it is necessary to ensure that the examinations are conducted in an orderly and peaceful manner at the centers, I, the undersigned, under the powers conferred upon me by sections 28 and 29 of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance (Ordinance No. III/1976), hereby declare that the entry of the public, except for examinees and examination-related persons, is strictly prohibited within 200 (two hundred) yards of the examination centers.

This order will be in effect during the examination period on the days the examination is held from April 10, 2025.
