(BSS)–Jubo Adhikar Parishad, a front organization of Gano Adhikar Parishad, has brought out a torch procession in the city last night demanding ban on Jatiya Party (JP-Ershad).
Protesting the attack on Anti-Facism Student, Worker and People’s Movement in the capital by the Jatiya Party, seemingly ally of Awami League, the procession began from Ferryghat area at Lower Jashore Road and concluded at Dakbangla intersection.
Later, a protest meeting was held presided over by city unit Jubo Adhikar Parishad president H M Tajul Islam.
General secretary S K Rashed, its leaders Saijid Hossain, Khairul Islam, Aziz Sheikh Rubel, among others, spoke.
The speakers declared that the Jatiya Party’s political activities and influences should have no place in the country.
They said that the Jatiya Party supported the Awami League from the very beginning. Fascist Hasina has gone, her allies remain. If the Jatiya Party tries to rehabilitate these fascists, they will be eradicated from Bangladesh.
