| A Dhaka court today (Nov 14) discharged three people, including former BNP lawmaker Mosaddak Ali Falu, from a case filed over laundering of Tk 183.92 crore to Dubai.
The two others, who were exempted from the case are - RAK Ceramics official SAK Ikramuzzaman and Star Ceramics official Syed AK Anwaruzzaman.
The court of Dhaka Divisional Special Judge SM Jiaur Rahman passed the order on Thursday.
Advocate Masud Ahmed Talukder moved the discharge petition before the court, while Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) counsel Mir Ahammed Ali Salam argued for framing charges against the three.
Earlier on May 13, 2019, the ACC filed the case with Uttara West Police Station under Money Laundering Prevention Act.
