| The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Former Jhenaidah-2 MP Tahzeeb Alam Siddique from Savar`s Nabinnagar on Thursday night.
Jhenidah Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the matter.
Former MP Tahjib Alam Siddique was arrested in the Nabinagar area of Savar.
According to a police official, Tahzeeb Alam Siddique has been arrested in connection with the cases filed at Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station for charges of murder, vandalism, and arson.
Besides, a case was recently filed in Jhenaidah, 11 years after the killing of Jamaat-e-Islami activist Abdus Salam. Tahzeeb Alam Siddique is one of the accused in that case.
