Eggs will be sold at an affordable price in 13 locations of the two city corporations of Dhaka from Sunday (Nov 10).

Md Alim Akhter Khan, director general of the Directorate of National Consumers’ Right Protection (DNCRP) said this today while addressing a programme at the FDC in the capital.

The consumers will be able to purchase the common protein item at a low price from seven locations under the Dhaka South City Corporation and six locations under the Dhaka North City Corporation, Alim Akhter Khan said.

Eggs will be supplied daily at 13 centers—six in the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and seven in the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), according to the National Consumer Rights Protection Directorate.

Both the DSCC and DNCC will be responsible for the overall management of this initiative.
