Salam Murshedi denied bail, sent to jail
  22, December, 2024, 8:15:58:PM

Former MP of Khulna-4 and industrialist Abdus Salam Murshedi was sent to jail today after two separate courts in Khulna rejected his bail petition.

Murshedi faces charges in four cases related to killings, attacks, and violence.

Senior Judicial Magistrate Takiya Sultana and Judicial Magistrate Altaf Mahmud both rejected the bail plea.

His lawyer, Barrister Tahsin Ahmed, argued for his release, but the court upheld the decision to remand Murshedi to jail.

The accused was brought to court under tight security.
