| The government has appointed six more members to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) in order to expedite the recruitment process.
The new appointees are -- Professor Dr Shahnaj Sarkar, Md Munir Hossain, Brigadier General (Retd) Dr AF Jaglul Ahmed, Dr Md Mijanur Rahman, Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury, and Professor Dr Syeda Shahina Sobhan.
A notification by the Ministry of Public Administration was issued in this regard on Thursday (January 2). With the new appointment, the number of PSC members now stood at 14.
