Oscars red carpet: `Wicked` fashion, white elegance, dazzling sparkles

Hollywood`s biggest night saw A-listers bringing their best fashion game to the Oscars on Sunday, with standout looks that ranged from whimsical "Wicked" references to old-school glamour and plenty of sparkle.

`Wicked` Fashion:
The stars of ``Wicked`` embraced dramatic fashion choices, staying true to the fantastical style of the land of Oz.

- Ariana Grande, a nominee for Best Supporting Actress, stunned in a sculptural pale Schiaparelli peplum gown, featuring a flouncy strapless bodice and a tulle cascade that created an ethereal look.
- Co-star Cynthia Erivo, nominated for Best Actress, wore a striking dark green velvet Louis Vuitton gown with a high pointed collar, full skirt, and bold long nails.
- Jeff Goldblum, portraying the Wizard, donned a cream double-breasted Prada jacket, floral shirt, and a purple floral brooch, adding his signature quirky flair.

``Pristine White:``
White was a color that screamed old-school Hollywood elegance on the carpet.
- Elle Fanning wore a delicate white Givenchy gown with lace detailing, a black bow at the waist, and a vintage Cartier diamond necklace, pairing it with a sleek updo.
