Two motorcyclists were killed after a bus ran over them in Kushtia`s Sadar on Saturday morning, April 12.

The deceased were identified as Nayan Islam, 25, and Rony, 26. They worked at Kiam Metal Industries Limited.

The incident took place in front of Firoz Hatchery in Bottail around 7:30am.

After the incident, locals are staging demonstration by blocking the Kushtia-Jhenaidah Highway, causing traffic congestion.

Chourhas Highway police station`s sub-inspector Joydeb said the locals are obstructing to recover the bodies, demanding that owner of the bus must be presented there.
