Online admission process for class XI begins
  30, July, 2025, 4:20:16:PM

The online application process for admission to Class XI for the 2025–26 academic session began on Wednesday. The first phase of applications will continue until August 11.

Students must apply through the official website (https://www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd), as manual applications will not be accepted. The application fee has been set at Tk 220. Each candidate can choose a minimum of five and a maximum of ten colleges. Admission to one college will be granted based on merit, quota, and preference.

Students who passed the SSC examination from the science group can choose one of the three streams—science, humanities, or business studies—at the intermediate level. However, students from the humanities or business studies groups can choose only between those two streams.

No admission test will be held. Admission will be based solely on SSC and equivalent examination results.

In the first phase, online applications will be accepted until August 11. The results of the first phase will be published at 8 pm on August 20. After the second phase of applications ends, classes are scheduled to begin on September 15.

This year, the admission fee has been fixed for colleges under the Monthly Payment Order (MPO) scheme. The maximum admission fee is Taka 5,000 in Dhaka Metropolitan City, Taka 3,000 in other cities, Taka 2,000 at district-level colleges, and Taka 1,500 in upazilas and rural areas.

On the other hand, admission fees for non-MPO colleges differ. In Dhaka city, the fee for the Bangla version is Taka 7,500, while for the English version, it is up to Taka 8,500.

In other cities, the admission fee is Taka 5,000 for the Bangla version and Taka 6,000 for the English version. At the district level, it is Taka 3,000 for the Bangla version and Taka 4,000 for the English version. In upazila-level colleges, the fee is Taka 2,500 for the Bangla version and Taka 3,000 for the English version.
