| The price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by Tk 91, setting the new rate at Tk 1,273. Additionally, the price of autogas has been cut by Tk 4.18, now fixed at Tk 58.28 per litre.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new prices on Sunday (August 3), stating that the revised rates would take effect from this evening.
Earlier, on July 2, the price of a 12-kg cylinder had been reduced by Tk 39, bringing it down to Tk 1,364. At that time, the price of autogas, including VAT, was reduced by Tk 1.84, setting it at Tk 62.46 per litre.
