Liton storms as Bangladesh gets 67-7 in powerplay
  3, September, 2025, 9:11:46:PM

Bangladesh skipper Liton Das powered his team to a commanding position with an explosive knock, scoring an unbeaten 45 runs from just 22 deliveries against the Netherlands.

His aggressive batting helped the Tigers post a score of 67-1 after the powerplay at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

The game was interrupted by a half-hour rain and bad light delay, which briefly stalled the momentum of the batsmen.

Opening partner Saif Hassan was the only wicket to fall, bowled by pacer Kyle Klein after scoring 12 runs off 8 balls.

The Dutch side also hurt their own cause, as fielder Shariz Ahmad dropped two crucial and relatively simple catches.

At the other end, Towhid Hridoy is batting on 7
