Health Adviser off to Singapore for medical treatment

Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum has left Dhaka for Singapore to undergo medical treatment. She departed on a midnight flight on Monday and is scheduled to return on the night of September 17.

The information was confirmed by Dr. Manjurul Islam, Personal Secretary (Joint Secretary) to the adviser.

Sources said the Health Adviser is a cancer patient and often travels to Singapore for treatment.
