Oh beloved Shraban of Bengal

Fourth month Bengali year

Second month of monsoon

I welcome you last Friday

But without your nature of raining

And cloud with gentle wind

I’m waiting for constant raining

Come as soon as possible

I shall go top of my home

Enjoy peace of raining

I shall wet my clothes

Dance with rain sequence

Wash myself with beautiful rain.
