| A young man was killed after being crushed under the wheels of a train while crossing rail tracks in Sonapahar area under Mirsari upazila of Chattogram district on Saturday.
The victim was Rajib Mohammad Roni, 26, hailed from Khillmurari area under Jorargonj thana.
Eyewitness said Rajib crushed under the train while crossing the tracks at 7AM on Saturday at the same area after returning home from the BSRM steel factory.
Sun-Inspector of Sitakunda Railway Police Outpost Faruk Hossain told journalists that a youth died under the train while crossing the rail tracks after completing his night duty from BSRM factory.
Police recovered the body and sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH), he added.
