| Police arrested two drug peddlers along with 200 pieces of Yaba tablets at Fakirhat upazila in Bagerhat district on Friday morning.
The arrested men are Sheikh Fakrul Islam, 48, a resident of Perikhali village under Rampal upazila and Azad Sikdar, 40, hailed from Narail district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in Mahandra bus stand area under Fakirhat upazila and arrested the duo with the drugs, said Alamgir Kabir, officer-in-charge of Fakirhat Model Police Station.
A case was filed against the duo under the Narcotics Control Act with the police station, the OC added.
