Online News : Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the interim government, has emphasized that business should not only serve individual interests but also the public good.

He made this remark on Thursday (January 2) during the opening ceremony of a Walkathon and Social Services Conference organized by the Department of Social Services on National Social Service Day.

Dr. Yunus stated that individual power is greater than that of the government, and when people awaken their individual consciousness, all problems can be solved.

He further remarked that social service is not just the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Services but a duty for everyone, with the Ministry’s role being to remind people of this duty.

He also highlighted that social business can protect the interests of others, stressing that social service is the responsibility of every citizen, and the ministry’s job is to ensure that no one forgets or shirks this responsibility.
