A team of RAB-11 has arrested a fugitive accused in kidnapping and rape of a 13-year-old child at Fatulla area in Narayanganj Sadar upazila.

The arrested accused is Azim, from Geddarbazar area of the upazila.

He was arrested from Mouchak area under ??Siddhirganj Police Station on Thursday afternoon.

RAB-11 said in a press release on Friday morning that on May 17, the child was held hostage and raped at the point of a sharp weapon.

Victim`s mother filed a rape case in the court in this regard.

After the case was registered, RAB-11 increased detective surveillance to arrest the accused.

The arrested accused has been handed over to Fatullah Police Station for further legal action, reads the release.
