(BSS) - BNP International Affairs Committee member Engineer Ishraque Hossain today expressed concern that a special quarter is out to take law into their own hands to destabilize the country.
“Recently, women and children are being subjected to victim of heinous crime like rape. We are deeply concerned about the rise of such incidents,” he told a Ramadan gift distribution programme of Sadeque Hossain Khoka Foundation at Dayaganj intersection here.
Ishraque said law and order situation has deteriorated severely as mob culture is going on unabated.
He demanded ensuring women’s safety by any means.
BNP’s Dhaka City South BNP joint convener Maqbul Islam Khan Tipu, leaders Abdul Qadir, Mahbubur Rahman Mahbub, Mosle Uddin Musa, Md. Hakim, Md. Morol, Mohammad Faruk, Mohammad Titu, Mohammad Aziz and Mohammad Mahin also spoke, among others.
