Unidentified youth’s body recovered in Rajshahi

Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth from a pond at Charghat municipality of Rajshahi district on Sunday evening.

According to locals, they noticed a foul smell coming from the pond and informed police.

Being informed, police reached the spot and recovered the body at around 6:00 PM of the youth wearing a blue T-shirt and black pants.


Charghat Model Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman confirmed the incident and said that the body has been sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.

An unnatural death case has been filed at the police station in this connection, added the OC.
