Bangladesh Army recovered a homemade pistol and several crude bombs from a train compartment at Airport Railway Station in Dhaka on Monday morning.

Army personnel conducted a search of multiple compartments of the Dinajpur-bound Ekota Express and found the weapons hidden in a sack of rice, according to a press release.

Four individuals were detained for preliminary questioning and taken to Uttara Army Camp. Authorities are working to identify those involved in the attempted sabotage.
