A fire erupted at a chemical factory in Bagher Bazar are of Rajendrapur in Gazipur district on Wednesday.

The blaze started around 12:55 pm and quickly spread to a nearby godown and residential houses, according to Talha Bin Jashim, an official of the Fire Service and Civil Defense (Media Cell).

On information, nine firefighting units rushed to the scene and are working to control the flames.
