Two persons were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Pabna`s Bera upazila on Wednesday night.

The accident happened at Sinduria under the upazila on the Kashinathpur-Kazirhat highway.

The dead were identified as Parash Hossain, 15, son of Shahidul Islam of Nayabari village under Aminpur Police Station, and Pushpa Pramanik, 35, an easy bike rider, of Sinduria village.

The deceased Parash was a first-year HSC student at Pabna City College.

Police said the teenage boy was going towards Kashinathpur riding on a motorcycle. On the way, it hit an easy bike with passengers coming from the opposite direction. Four people were injured. Two of them died on the way to hospital after being rescued.

Aminpur Police Station OC Syed Mohammad Alamgir Hossain confirmed it.
