The temperature in Panchagarh dropped to 12 degrees Celsius on Thursday morning.
Tentulia Meteorological Observatory office recorded the district`s temperature at 6 am at 12.2 degrees Celsius.
The information was given by Rasel Shah, officer-in-charge of the first-class Tentulia Meteorological Observatory in Panchagarh.
He said that although the minimum temperature of the season was recorded at 13 degrees Celsius for the last three days, the temperature dropped further to 12.2 degrees Celsius at 6 am on Thursday.
Now the temperature will continue to drop further as the day goes on, he added.
Meanwhile, from dawn, it was seen that the sun was shining through the fog, but the cold was still felt. However, stone workers, daily wage laborers, tea workers and other working people were seen going to their respective jobs, ignoring the cold.
