Police have arrested eleven members of an inter-district robbery gang in Sirajganj district.

The arrested men are Jibon Parvez Reza (47), Bachchu Mia (47), Rabiul Karim (45), Afzal Mia Ujjal (40), Md Joy (40), Suman Mia (40), Md Sumon (47), Shahadat Hossain (55), Md Apel (36), Shahidul Islam (44), and Mostafa Kamal Joy (47).

They were arrested from different parts of the country, according to Md Faruk Hossain, Superintendent of Sirajganj Police.

Durimg the drive, police seized a portion of Tk 28.55 lakh looted from a Dutch Bangla Bank, RAB uniforms, a walkie-talkie set, a pair of handcuffs, a toy pistol, a microbus, a motorcycle, and 17 mobile phones.

During interrogation, the arrestees confessed to their involvement in several robberies across the country.
