District Administration and the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) conducted market monitoring at different markets of Khulna metropolitan on Wednesday on the occasion of holy month Ramadan.

A special task force led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Nurul Hai Mohammad Anas conducted the monitoring drive.

The ADC closely monitored the prices of essential commodities in Khulna`s larger markets and other markets, ensuring that no substandard products were being sold.

He personally visited various shops to inquire about the prices and quality of daily necessities.

Additionally, he checked whether the daily market list was up-to-date and reviewed the receipts of purchased goods.

This initiative was organized jointly by the District Administration and DNCRP.

District Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohammad Muntasir Hasan Khan, Assistant Director of district DNCRP Mohammad Walid Bin Habib, student representatives, committee members, law enforcement agencies, and market committee leaders were also present during the drive.
