National Consensus Commission (NCC) on Wednesday held a meeting to review potential strategies for implementing July National Charter 2025, focusing on how the government might proceed with its adoption.
According to a press release, the commission discussed various alternative options available to government for the charter’s implementation.
The session also involved an in-depth review of feedback received from political parties on the integrated draft of the charter.
Participants examined how the diverse opinions and suggestions from these parties could be incorporated into the final version to ensure broad political consensus.
The meeting took place at NCC office located within Parliament Complex.
It was attended by NCC Vice Chair Professor Ali Riaz, members Justice Md Emdadul Haque, Iftekharuzzaman, Badiul Alam Majumdar, Safar Raj Hossain and Md Ayub Mia, along with Monir Haidar, Special Assistant to Chief Adviser.
Earlier, on August 16, NCC circulated the integrated draft of “July National Charter 2025” among political parties, inviting feedback. So far, 29 parties have submitted their responses.
